Greeks bearing compliments

Greek PM Alexis Tsipras briefly met German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of a European Union summit in Brussels today. Although you wouldn't have gathered from Tsipras quite jovial demeanor, the mood between Greece and its creditors is quite sour with a final accord between them still seeming to be far off, the possibility of a grexit ominously inching closer and with the Greek government's coffers almost empty .

Fun fact: Tsipras has named one of his two sons Orpheus Ernesto as a tribute to his icon Ernesto Che Guevara.
