Donald Trump's recent phone call with Taiwan's president, Tsai Ing-wen, the first high-level communication between the two countries in about 40 years, drew sharp criticism as it threatens to destabilize US-China relations. What most critics failed to consider though was that it could also upset US-Taiwan relations due to Donald's unique way of establishing rapport.
